Brienne Schaefer
Brienne Schaefer received her Bachelor of Arts at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, where she earned the Philosophy and Religion Award upon graduation. Brienne went on to attend Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia. While at Mercer, Brienne focused on legal writing receiving her Certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research and Drafting. Brienne began working criminal defense while still in law school. While at the Fairfax County Office of the Public Defender, Brienne found immediate success in the courtroom defending clients from criminal charges. During her time as an Assistant Public Defender, Brienne gained experience in the courtroom in judge and jury trials and winning cases on appeal. Those appellate victories include cases in the categories of sex crimes and weapons charges. Brienne has gathered exceptional experience as a public defender which she will apply with focus and dedication to your charge.
