
Mario has over a decade of experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes litigation in both state and federal court and arbitration. His experience also includes representing clients in government enforcement actions, and mediations. He has represented individuals and financial institutions in disputes surrounding structured products, securities, cryptocurrency, derivatives, antitrust, and market manipulation, as well as ERISA matters. Mario is experienced in all stages of litigation, including making arguments in federal court and trial.
Mario’s hands-on approach ensures that each of his clients receives representation attuned to their individual needs to successfully meet their goals.
Prior to joining K&S, Mario was an associate at Jones Day, Duane Morris, and Scott and Scott in New York.
Mario is also committed to pro bono matters and has successfully represented individuals seeking asylum in the United States and in civil rights matters, and in law school he was part of team that successfully challenged the death sentence imposed on a Texas death row inmate.

- Investors in prosecuting breach of fiduciary duty claims against investment advisers and broker-dealers concerning millions of dollars in investment losses.
- Investors in mass arbitrations alleging fraud and various violations of consumer protection laws against major crypto-asset exchange.
- Numerous class actions prosecuting ERISA matters in federal court.
- Financial institution in CDS valuation dispute through a six-week trial.
- Various financial institutions and individuals in FINRA and SEC investigations.
- Obtained $220,000 settlement in favor of multiple plaintiffs in a § 1983 civil rights concerning a botched prison fire evacuation
